  POOR Service has been the theme of my Advocate experience. The doctors are fine but everything else is poor. All calls to Dr. or nurse must go through call center. They don't return calls. They don't pay attention to details. Seems like anytime there is a problem you have to deal with a low paid call center person. They are consistently very frustrating to deal with on administrative issues, Rx issues, insurance issues, etc. Again, ok doctors, but pathetic customer service. Will likely move my care to northwestern or someone else.

  I guess I have to give at least one star, there isnt an option for zero. Took my 3 year old daughter to the walk in clinic and asked the doctor if he could swab her for the flu, he looked at me like i had horns growing out of my head and said" you mean influenza, she looks way to good to have influenza." he refused to swab her and sent her home. fast forward a day and a half, 104.5 fever with weezing, a trip to the emergency room, positive for flu and pneumonia. we had the follow up with her pediatrician and he says that everyone is just running out of swabs and we cant just swab everyone. this is a prime example of being last in your class and still being called doctor
