  They just lost a customer. Went in there this morning with my cash, $9 and some odd change, knowing they don't take debit/credit cards. I thought the Pecan Coffee Cake was still 8-something. Well it's $9.90 now. Well that puts me about $1 short. So I knew what that meant. A trip all the way to an ATM. The clerk had a disappointed, slightly irritated but smug look on her face and I felt embarrassed, like I don't have enough money. Well that's not the case I do have the money they just don't take cards! So I'm setting up to leave and go get cash and the lady behind me offers me $2. How nice. I guess she could sense my embarrassment. Harner's you need to get with the times. Most people don't keep cash on them. When you turn someone away because they don't have cash that's like the old saying, "we don't take paper money, we only take gold". It's a rejection. I should've been able to walk in, get my coffee cake, and gone happily on my way but what I got was, "that kind of money isn't good here, you're a pain now I have to put the coffee cake back in the case". I won't be dealing with this anymore. I can make my own coffee cake or buy one somewhere else where they'll take cash or card and at a better price! $10 for a coffee cake!? That's too much. This customer is gone, out the door. Never to return. Oh and btw, I have ran to an ATM before going to your store just to buy the coffee cake, many times. I've done my due diligence. I've done the work to abide by Harner's way. No more. I'm out.
