  Now I never write reviews, however I can not recall a time I have received worse service. I arrive at 10pm with my son and boyfriend. We stand and wait as we see three workers standing around talking with their coworkers. Then the two girls walk out speaking loudly in front of my family foul language about how bad they want to leave the job. As we continue to wait for at least 5 minutes for someone to greet and sit us, keep in mind there were only two other couple sitting down already eating. It’s completely dead in there. Finally a lady walks up to us, point to a table and says “you guys can sit there.” And then leans over just pushing two menus on us without saying anything. We sat for 20 minutes and no one came to take our drink order or at least let us know it’d be a wait even though the place was very empty. After watching the employee walk around the tables slowly just back and forth, my family just got up and left. I’m sorry, I do not think if I am the only one waiting on an order or to order that I should have to wait 20 plus minutes for a drink. The workers did not look at the least presentable either.

  I have been going to this Steak n Shake forever (since it opened) and I went recently and was disappointed in the food. It was just okay, not as good as I remember it. The bathrooms were the WORST. My husband works for a sanitation district and said that his boss told him you know how good/clean a restaurant is depending on how well they take care of their bathrooms. This place reeked SO BAD I had to hold my breath in the bathroom while my 4 yo went potty. I will not be going back here. I think the only thing keeping them open is their shakes.
